Donato Perez Garcia has been practicing medicine since 1983 after graduating from Medical School and obtaining his Bachelor of Science in Medical Studies from Universidad Anahuac in Mexico City in 1982. He completed a rotating internship at the ABC Hospital in Mexico City. Next, he joined his father, Donato Perez Garcia y Bellon, M.D. at the private family practice, Dres. Donato Perez Garcia Medical Clinic, located in Mexico City.
From 1983 till 1988 he learned the medical treatment called IPTLD® created by my grand father and continued by my father. In 1989 a crucial decision was taken to open a medical office in the city of Tijuana. It was not an easy decision and it involved drastic changes in life style and family life as I did not have a relative in Tijuana. I have taken the care to continuously develop new plans and ideas, to offer the best to my patients and after all this movement from Mexico City to Tijuana has been a wise decision.
Dr. Donato Perez has published five papers in peer reviewed medical literature on this IPTLD® and has made scientific presentations on the treatment at major national and international scientific conferences. His efforts in this area have earned him recognition from the National Institutes of Health, National Cancer Institute, Office of Cancer Complementary and Alternative Medicine (OCCAM). In December 2005, the Director of OCCAM, Dr. Jeffrey White, announced a Request for Proposal on alternative cancer treatment and Dr. Perez along with Dr. Ayre were invited to respond because of his dedicated involvement with IPTLD®.
