How to get to my office in Baja California
Travel Details
Ready to start making your travel plans? Coming to Tijuana , México is very simple. You need to get to San Diego , California which is the US city bordering Tijuana , México . You need a valid passport to be used when returning to the United States and if you are not a US Citizen you may require a US VISA.
Where to Stay:
1. - In San Diego , California . ( San Ysidro , CA area). There is a hotel close to the border that offers shuttle service to and from the doctor’s office: The Best Western Americana, San Ysidro.
2. - In Tijuana , BC , México . Ask my office Receptionist for the best deal.
Now, how do you get over the Border and back?
Option 1 -Hire a ride. If you require a driver to pick you at the San Diego Airport and transfer you to your hotel or my office as well as for additional services contact Juvencio Aguirre by dialing to his San Diego , CA , mobile phone: 1-619-778-0031.
Option 2 -Take a taxi to the Trolley, ride it down to either your hotel (where you would take the shuttle) or to the Border (in which case you would walk over ).
Option 3 -Driving your own (or rented) vehicle. Purchase insurance for México before leaving the USA by stopping at a gas station or insurance office in San Ysidro , California and purchase for the day or number of days you plan to stay in México . When you enter México , follow the sign "ZONA RIO" and look for the name of the avenue PASEO DE LOS HEROES which is a wide avenue with trees in the middle. Keep driving east as you will pass several traffic-circles with monuments and/or statues. After passing the last circle with an equestrian statue, you will see, on your right, a sign for HOSPITAL ANGELES on a building. On Avenida La Paz turn right and then right to enter HOSPITAL ANGELES. Follow directions to the parking lot on Level S1 underground level.
Option 4 -Park your vehicle in a safe parking lot in San Ysidro California by exiting at the LAST US EXIT on Freeway 5 and locate the parking lot (cost is approximately $8.00 US per day). Walk across the border to the Yellow Taxi stand. Tell the taxi driver to take you to HOSPITAL ANGELES in Zona Rio Tijuana. There is Taxi service at the hospital to return you back to the border.
